Shia LaBeouf is watching all of his movies in a row

November 11, 2015 by John Lucking

Following on from his somewhat-infamous performance pieces Shia LaBeouf is now almost 24 hours into his latest fine art instalment: watching every film he’s ever appeared in back-to-back. LaBeouf will be at the Angelika Film Centre in New York working under the hashtag of #ALLMYMOVIES for roughly 72 hours as he watches over two-dozen of his films, starting with his most recent big-screen performance in ‘Man Down‘ and ending with his first in ‘Breakfast with Einstein‘. Similar to his ‘I’m Sorry‘ installation members of the public are welcome to come along and sit with Shia -free of charge- for as long as they like, although with no guarantee of a seat and a line lasting roughly three hours, most of us will have to be content with the online stream of Shia’s performance which takes place at http://newhive.com/allmymovies

The stream consists primarily of Shia’s reactions to his films, but given the duration also includes everything else you’d expect from watching a human over 72 hours, including toilet breaks and sleep. Unfortunately due to copyright issues there is no audio, but you still have time to dig out your copy of Holes on DVD and make your own audio-visual sync.
