Deadline is reporting that Fox has acquired the rights to Image Comics’ graphic novel Sexcastle by Kyle Starks and has tapped Kyle Newacheck and Blake Anderson (Comedy Central’s Workaholics) to direct and star respectively.
Sexcastle is described as “a throwback to 80s action movies” and tells the tale of an assassin (played by Anderson), who leaves the world of killing and retires to a small town only to find himself pulled back in.
Anthony and Joe Russo, directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, will serve as producers on the project.
