John Boyega promises Star Wars: Episode VIII will be much darker

January 12, 2016 by Robert Kojder

Speaking to the UK edition of Vogue magazine, John Boyega briefly touched upon the script for Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII, agreeing with co-star Daisy Ridley that “It’s great”, while also adding that it’s “Much darker, but we’re very excited.”

He also mentions that Finn will have a lot more action, saying “My part in the next film will be much more physical so I might be in the gym a bit more.”‘
