Matt Lanter to star in NBC time-travel pilot

March 2, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Matt Lanter (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) has been cast as the lead in Time, a new sci-fi action adventure pilot from NBC, which has been created by Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and Shawn Ryan (The Shield).

Described as Back to the Future meets Mission: Impossible, Time is “a high-octane drama following an unlikely trio who travel through time to battle a master criminal intent on altering the fabric of human history with potentially catastrophic results.”

Lanter will join Abigail Spencer (Suits) in the cast, with the duo playing the two time travellers at the centre of the story.
