Before Tom Holland was cast as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, there was a tonne of speculation suggesting that Marvel would cast a non-white actor in the role, and perhaps even go down the Miles Morales route as opposed to Peter Parker.
Well, of course that never came to pass, but if Heroic Hollywood is to be believed (come on, don’t laugh…), we may get to see Miles Morales on the big screen after all, albeit in animated form, with the site reporting that Sony will focus on Miles for the 2018 animated feature film.
Of course, this being Heroic Hollywood, there’s every chance the report is just speculation, so Miles Morales fans may not want to get too excited until we hear from a more reliable source.
