The Conjuring 2 director James Wan discusses his influences

With just a couple of weeks to go until the release of the hotly-anticipated horror sequel The Conjuring 2, we’ve got an exclusive interview featurette with James Wan, where the director discusses his influences; check it out here…

Reprising their roles, Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga (“Up In the Air,” TV’s “Bates Motel”) and Patrick Wilson (the “Insidious” films), star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

The Conjuring 2 is set for release on June 10th in the States and June 13th in the UK, with a cast that also includes  Frances O’Connor (The Missing), Madison Wolfe (Trumbo),  Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black), Simon Delaney (Roy), Franka Potente (The Bridge), Simon McBurney (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation) and newcomers Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley and Benjamin Haigh.
