Ben Mendelsohn cast in new Netflix movie The Land of Steady Habits

January 20, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Coming off a stellar period in his career which included a blistering turn in the Netflix original series Bloodline, and more famously portraying the main villain in Disney’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Ben Mendelsohn has now been cast as the lead in a new Netflix movie.

The Australian actor has cemented his status as one of the finest character actors working today, and with more high profile roles like that of Orson Krennic in mega hit Rogue One, the interest in his smaller projects is bound to rise.

The film which is titled The Land of Steady Habits, focuses on a man (Mendelsohn) in his mid fifties as he embarks on a heartbreaking journey to reconcile his past with his present.

Anthony Bregman will be helming the project for Netflix who is fully-financing the project and distributing worldwide.
