Harley Quinn Smith wants to play a young Harley Quinn in Gotham City Sirens

January 25, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Despite poor critical reception David Ayer’s Suicide Squad cleaned up nicely at the box office, so much so that Ayer is already putting together a spinoff sequel titled Gotham City Sirens., which will see Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn joined by several female characters from the DC universe.

While specific details on the film are being kept under wraps, Kevin Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith recently spoke to ComicBook and tossed her name in the hat for a very specific role.

“Before they even mentioned that [Margot Robbie] was going to make a spinoff, I talked to my agent and I was like, ‘Honestly, I know this isn’t even a project yet, but I just want you to know that when the day comes that they do start putting this into production I need you to make sure, if there is a young Harley Quinn role, that no one other than Harley Quinn plays that role.’ [My agent] was like, ‘Okay…’ [laughs] I don’t even know how long I’ve been waiting for this.”

Let us know in the comments below if you think Harley Quinn Smith would be a good fit for a younger Harleen Quinzel in Gotham City Sirens…
