UPDATE: Justice League is rumored to run 170 minutes – which is longer than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

March 30, 2017 by Robert Kojder

The official Justice League IMDB page was updated earlier today, now listing that the running time for the anticipated superhero blockbuster as 170 minutes. This will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the works of director Zack Snyder, whose previous DCEU entry Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was 151 minutes and featured a Blu-ray extended cut that pushed the length over three hours.

It should be noted that – if the IMDb listing is accurate – this is a probably only placeholder runtime, and that Justice League is likely not picture locked yet. As such, the runtime could be shortened or it could even be made longer before its release in November.

UPDATE: Looks like Zack Snyder has debunked the rumour:

@thejonberg Forgot to tell you that I screened the first cut of JL for IMDB. Thought that was standard WB procedure. No?

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
