Steve Buscemi and Greg Kinnear join cast of Electric Dreams

April 19, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Actors Steve Buscemi and Greg Kinnear have been cast in Electric Dreams, the upcoming anthology series based on the works of Philip K. Dick.

The Amazon Prime series will see each of its ten episodes adapt a short story from legendary sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick.

Dick has penned a host of classic literature during his career, with stories such as Minority Report, Total Recall, and the tale behind Blade Runner, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, being among the most famous.

We already know that Bryan Cranston will be appearing in the series (as well as executive producing) and it was reported last month that Timothy Spall has also been cast.

Buscemi will play the lead role in an episode entitled ‘Crazy Diamond’, appearing as an average man who agrees to help a gorgeous synthetic woman when she approaches him with a life altering plan.

Kinnear will play a father in an episode called ‘Father Thing’ which tells the story of an alien invasion.

Electric Dreams was commissioned by Channel 4 and will air in the UK later this year while also playing in the US on Amazon Prime.
