Kong: Skull Island star Terry Notary told the press a few months ago that he was playing Thanos’ right hand man in Avengers: Infinity War, but a new report from MCU Exchange has details on The Mad Titan’s Black Order. According to the site, The Black Order won’t stick strictly to the source material, but will instead tie into Nebula’s line from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: “You are a disappointment sister; out of all our siblings, I hated you least.” Read more here.
Someone who probably won’t be seeing Avengers: Infinity War is An American Werewolf in London director John Landis, who threw some shade at the MCU in a recent interview. “Truthfully, I’m bored shitless with the Marvel Universe now,” Landis told entertainment.ie. “All the superhero movies tend to be interchangeable, you always have these mass destruction of cities and huge computer-generated extravaganzas to the point where you could take a reel from any of the Marvel superhero movies and put it any of the others and nobody would notice. They’re very well-made, it’s just they’re the same thing over and over again.” Read more here.
Original Rangers Amy Jo Johnston and Jason David Frank did have a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Power Rangers, but a newly released deleted scene reveals a slightly different role. Frank explained on Instagram the pair shot two cameos however, “Unfortunately this one was cut to make a better one, but at least I have long hair in this deleted scene.” Read more here.
The future of Spider-Man in the MCU has been up in the air since it was announced Sony were planning on ending their relationship with Marvel Studios to focus on their own Spider-Verse, but star Tom Holland has confirmed Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 will happen alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. “Yes, there is what we call the arc of the character,” he said. “There is still a lot of room for Peter Parker and Spider-Man, especially, to grow in the next two movies. He’s definitely not the finished article by the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and I really look forward to exploring the different ways he can grow up and go through puberty I guess.
