With principal photography completed back in March and the film slated to released in February of 2018, it makes sense that a trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising would be on the way. Alas, it has not dropped yet and even star John Boyega even took to social media to inquire why.
You got Star Wars teaser, Detroit trailer but where's Pacific Rim at ?

This prompted Steven DeKnight (taking over directorial duties from Guillermo del Toro who has The Shape of Water releasing this year) to reply with a tweet of his own:
Working on it! https://t.co/5eHMtjoQdA

With Dunkirk set to release in exactly one month, it’s possible that Warner Bros. will take the opportunity to unveil the first teaser for Pacific Rim: Uprising alongside the Christopher Nolan WWII epic. Either way, we shouldn’t have too much longer to wait…
Pacific Rim: Uprising sees Steven S. DeKnight (Daredevil) directing a cast that includes John Boyega (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Adria Arjona (True Detective), Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad), Cailee Spaeny (Counting to 1,000), Levi Meaden (Aftermath), Karan Brar (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Nick Tarabay (Spartacus), Zhang Jin (Ip Man 3), Mackenyu (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) and Jing Tian (Police Story: Lockdown), while Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman reprise their roles from the first film. It is set for release on February 23rd 2018.
