Freida Pinto has joined The Path for season 3

June 29, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Freida Pinto has joined the cast of The Path for the show’s third season.

The Hulu drama revolves around a mysterious cult headed by Hugh Dancy’s Cal Roberts, and how Eddie, the father of a family wrapped up in its movement, begins to struggle with his faith in what the cult calls Meyerism.

Pinto will join Dancy and the rest of the cast as a season regular, playing a publicist for the movement that forms a personal connection with Eddie (played by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul). However, Pinto’s character may have a secret agenda that Eddie is unaware of.

The thirteen episode third season of The Path began production in New York on Monday and is scheduled to premiere on Hulu in early 2018.

The show is created by Jessica Goldberg who also executive produces the television series with Katims and Michelle Lee.

The Path also stars Michelle Monaghan as Eddie’s wife Sarah, a woman born into the Meyerist movement, becoming an important figure within it and a devout believer.
