Josh Gad continues to tease The Penguin role in the DC Extended Universe

June 2, 2017 by Robert Kojder

In case you missed it, a few weeks ago Josh Gad shared an image of The Penguin on social media and then quickly dismissed all of the natural DC related speculation that stemmed from the tease. For those unfamiliar with Josh Gad, he’s definitely a prankster (just watch the numerous videos of him pestering Daisy Ridley on the set of Murder on the Orient Express for Star Wars: The Last Jedi spoilers).

Well, he’s now continuing to spark rumors, this time by posting a picture of him posing in front of a DC logo alongside DC Films’ Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. He’s also holding an issue of Batman Adventures Vol. 1 which furthers speculation as it contains The Penguin on the cover.

There are several potential DC projects which could potentially make use of The Penguin, including The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, Batgirl and Nightwing., but it is of course entirely possible that Gad is just continuing to have a little fun with the fans.

Would you like to see Josh Gad as The Penguin? Let us know in the comments below…
