Exclusive interview with Breeda Wool on Mr. Mercedes

July 31, 2017 by Tai Freligh

Tai Freligh interviews Breeda Wool from Mr. Mercedes…

Breeda Wool (UnREAL, The Faith Diaries) plays Lou Linklatter in Mr. Mercedes, the television show based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. Tai Freligh with Flickering Myth interviewed him at Comic-Con 2017 and asked her about her character on the show, meeting Stephen King, and her hopes for a second season.

Here she talks about her character on the show.

Here she talks about her character and her relationship with Brady Hartsfield.

Here she talks about reading the source material for her character.

Here she talks about hopes for a season two.

Here she talks about meeting Stephen King.

From Executive Producers Stephen King, David E. Kelley and Jack Bender comes the story of a demented serial killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails. This forces the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he can strike again.

Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter) plays Detective Bill Hodges alongside Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful) as Brady Hartsfield, Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight) as Jerome Robinson, Scott Lawrence (Avatar) as Detective Peter Dixon, Robert Stanton (Mercury Rising) as Anthony “Robi” Frobisher, Ann Cusack (Nightcrawler) as Olivia Trelawney, Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) as Janey Patterson and Holland Taylor (The Truman Show) as Ida Silver. They join the previously announced Kelly Lynch (Magic City) as Deborah Hartsfield, Justine Lupe (Harry’s Law) as Holly Gibney and Breeda Wool (uNREAL) as Lou Linklatter.

Mr. Mercedes is set to premiere on August 9th.

Tai Freligh is a Los Angeles based writer and can be found on Twitter.
