Westworld season 2 casts The Leftovers’ Katja Herbers

July 12, 2017 by Ricky Church

HBO’s hit series Westworld will see a new face enter the park for its second season. The show has cast Katja Herbers, who is an HBO veteran from The Leftovers, for the upcoming season. Her other credits have included FX’s The Americans and Manhattan.

Herbers will star as Grace, a seasoned guest of Westworld who visited visit the park just as its “darkest hour” in season one’s finale began. Herbers is the first new series regular to be announced for season two.

Meanwhile we do know Talulah Riley and Louis Herthum, both of whom played hosts in supporting roles in season one, have been upped to series regulars for season two. HBO has been keeping mum on which actors and characters from season one will return, but we know for sure that Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris and Thandie Newton will all be back.

Production on Westworld season two starts this month and will have a presence at the San Diego Comic Con next week with a panel for the series. We should learn more about what lies in store for the park then. Westworld season one will also be released on Blu-ray November 6th.
