Katee Sackhoff cast in The Flash season 4 as DC villain Blacksmith

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Battlestar Galactica and Riddick star Katee Sackhoff has joined the cast of The Flash season four in a recurring role.

Sackhoff is set to play the villain Amunet Black, a.k.a. Blacksmith, who is described as “a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives.”

The actress will make her debut in the fifth episode of season four, entitled ‘Girls Night Out’, which also features a guest appearance from Arrow’s Emily Bett Rickards.

Other new additions to the cast of The Flash four its fourth season include Harley Sawyer as Elongated Man, Neil Sandilands as The Thinker, Kim Engelbrecht as The Mechanic, Sugar Lyn Beard as Hazard and Danny Trejo as Breacher.

The Flash will return to The CW for its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10th.
