According to The Tracking Board, Nicole Kidman is in talks to star in the upcoming crime thriller Destroyer, which is set to be directed by Karyn Kusama (Girlfight, The Invitation) from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi.
Although plot details are being kept under wraps, Kusama has described the film as a “personal epic – a beautiful character study of an incredible female that we haven’t seen in this genre before.”
Nicole Kidman is enjoyed a run of successes at the moment, with films such as Lion and The Beguiled and the TV shows Top of the Lake and Big Little Lies. She is currently shooting the DC superhero blockbuster Aquaman, and has How to Talk to Girls at Parties and The Killing of a Sacred Deer incoming this year.
