Rocky will fight Drago again in Creed sequel

August 6, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Last month Sylvester Stallone confirmed that Dolph Lundgren’s Ivan Drago will be making his return in the upcoming sequel to Creed, and now Sly has revealed that Rocky Balboa will be having a rematch of sorts with his Russian nemesis.

“It wouldn’t be a party without Drago would it?” Stallone told TMZ. “I’m gonna punch him. You know I gotta hit Drago once.”

It’s thought that Creed 2 will see Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed going up against the son of Lundgren’s Drago, who of course ended the life of Adonis’ father Apollo Creed during their bout in Rocky IV.

Stallone has recently completed the script for Creed 2, so expect to hear further news on the sequel soon.
