Tom Cruise suffers an injury during Mission: Impossible 6 stunt

August 14, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It appears that Tom Cruise has suffered a (seemingly minor) injury filming a stunt for the currently-in-production Mission: Impossible 6.

TMZ has released a video showing Cruise attempting a stunt in London where he jumps between two buildings, only to fall short of the leap and crash into the side of one of the buildings. The star then climbs onto the rooftop and limps away. You can watch the video for yourself here.

Cruise is of course famed for performing his own stunts in the franchise, and has picked up a few injuries along the way – he hurt his ankle on the first movie, and tore his shoulder on the second. Let’s hope this latest one is nothing serious.

Mission: Impossible 6 will see Tom Cruise joined by returning stars Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Michelle Monaghan, along with new additions Henry Cavill (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Sian Brooke (Sherlock), Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) and Vanessa Kirby (The Crown). It is set for release on July 27th 2018.
