Frank Grillo claims that Marvel still has plans for Crossbones

September 22, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Despite his demise in Captain America: Civil War, it seems that Marvel may still have plans for Crossbones in the MCU, with actor Frank Grillo teasing some “interesting” news about his character Brock Rumlow.

“I have three boys who are fanatical about Marvel, and I was surprised not too long ago because there is some news that nobody knows yet, to do with my character, that’s going to be really interesting and I’m excited about that,” Grillo told Forbes.

Assuming Rumlow didn’t survive the explosion in Civil War, we’d have to assume that the character would be appearing in some kind of flashback, perhaps even in the 90s-set Captain Marvel movie. Although with Avengers: Infinity War on the horizon and Thanos set to wield the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, anything is possible…
