Console release date for Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock announced

November 9, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Slitherine Games have announced that their latest title Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock will be released on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on the 8th December.  Based on the award winning sci-fi series, Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock is a strategy game that will see players defend the Twelve Colonies during the time of the First Cylon War.

In Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock players will need to build huge fleets of ships, choose from the large variety of ships available including the Manticore corvette and the mighty Jupiter class Battlestar.  Viper squadrons and Raptor scouts will also be available as to use as the fleet engages Cylon Raiders and Basestars.

Players will be able to command their fleet from the bridge of the Daidalos shipyard and view intense tactical space battles in full 3D as the fight rages on to defend the Twelve Colonies and the Quorum alliance.

“Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is one of the most exciting projects we have ever worked on”, said JD McNeil, Chairman of the Slitherine group. “The Battlestar Galactica universe has an incredibly loyal following and very high expectations. As a publisher, we understand what it means to work on a project that has to please a specific audience while delivering a deep strategic experience”.

Look out for Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock arriving on Xbox One and PS4 on the 8th December.
