Meet the Blacks sequel The House Next Door adds Danny Trejo and Rick Ross

November 12, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Last month it was announced that Friday After Next co-stars Mike Epps and Katt Williams are set to reunite for The House Next Door, a sequel to the 2016 comedy Meet the Blacks, and now Deadline is reporting that Danny Trejo (Machete) and rapper Rick Ross (Magic City) have signed on to appear in the film.

The sequel follows Carl Black (Epps), who has moved his family back to his childhood home after surviving a night of terror in the original movie. However, when his quirky neighborhood becomes host to a mysteriously extravagant pimp (Williams), Carl becomes convinced the new neighbour is a vampire and is trying to steal Carl’s entire family away.

The House Next Door is once again being directed by Deon Taylor and will see Bresha Webb, Zulay Henao, Andrew Bachelor, Lil Duval, Michael Blackson and Tyrin Turner reprising their roles from the original movie. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta.
