Scoot McNairy reunites with Halt and Catch Fire showrunner for The Parts You Lose

December 17, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The H Collective has announced that Scoot McNairy (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) has signed on to reunite with his Halt and Catch Fire showrunner Christopher Cantwell on the upcoming dramatic thriller The Parts You Lose.

Written by Darren Lemke, The Parts You Lose “follows the unlikely friendship that unfolds between a young deaf boy and a fugitive criminal who takes refuge in an abandoned barn on the family’s rural North Dakota farm. After forming a deep bond with the man, the boy must decide where to place his allegiances when the authorities begin to close in on the fugitive.”

McNairy joins a cast that includes Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Fargo) and newcomer Danny Murphy. Filming is currently underway in Winnipeg, Canada ahead of a 2018 release.
