Champions character pack revealed for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

January 4, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed the next Character Pack DLC coming to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.  This latest pack will add characters from the champions comic book series and will expand the game’s roster of over 200 Super Heroes and Super Villains.

The Champions are a group of teenagers with super powers who become disillusioned by their elders and decide to show the world what real heroes are.  With The Champions Character Pack players will be able to use the strength of Amadeus Cho and the supersonic flight of Nova.  Other characters included in the pack are Ironheart, Devil Dinosaur, Moon Girl, Viv, Wasp (Nadia Pym) and Hawkeye (Kate Bishop).

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 takes players to the hub world of Chronopolis where all iconic Marvel hero locations merge into one place for players to explore.  Chronopolis allows players to wander around many of the locations from the Marvel universe such as Thor’s Asgard, the Wakandan jungle, ancient Egyptian pyramids and the deep space base of Knowhere as a large variety of well known characters.

The Champions Character Pack DLC can be purchased separately for £1.59 on Xbox One and £1.69 on PlayStation 4 or is available as part of the game’s season pass.  The Season Pass, featuring six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including the previously released Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 pack,  is available to purchase for £11.99.  It also comes as part of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Deluxe Edition.
