Dundee promo spoofs the Crocodile Dundee water buffalo scene as Hugh Jackman joins in the fun

January 27, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Okay, so we know its not a real movie, but there’s certainly still a lot of interest surrounding Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home, Tourism Australia’s new marketing campaign and faux sequel to the 80s classic Crocodile Dundee.

Not only do we have Danny McBride as Brian Dundee and Chris Hemsworth as Wally Reilly Jr. – as well as the prospect of a Paul Hogan return as Mick Dundee in the eventual Super Bowl spot – but now comes word from Hugh Jackman that he’s also getting in on the fun:

You didn’t really think they’d bring back Dundee … without me, did you?! #DundeeMovie pic.twitter.com/jHjcZSnGdn

Meanwhile, another promo has arrived online, which spoofs the classic water buffalo scene from the original film; check that out here…

Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home sees American Brian Dundee heading to Australia in search of his missing father Mick, where he has to channel his Aussie roots as he hunts for his dad in the Outback.
