The Humanity Bureau takes place in 2030, where global warming is wreaking havoc on the American midwest, and the government has launched an agency called The Humanity Bureau, which is responsible for exiling unproductive members of society to a colony called New Eden. Cage is set to portray a government agent investigating a case appeal for a mother (Sarah Lind) and her young son (Jakob Davies), who decides to go rogue in an effort to help them escape to Canada.
