Sylvester Stallone teases The Expendables 4 return

January 12, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Last April, it was announced that Sylvester Stallone had opted against a return as Barney Ross for The Expendables 4, exiting the all-star action franchise over creative differences with Millennium Films boss Avi Lerner.

Well, it seems that Sly may now have had a change of heart, with the star taking to Instagram to share an image of himself alongside co-stars Jason Statham and Randy Couture, complete with the caption: “Just when you thought it was safe to go outside…They’re coming back!”

The first three Expendables movies grossed over $800 million worldwide, and featured a who’s who of action stars including the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Gary Daniels and Scott Adkins.
