Zac Efron shares first look as Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

January 18, 2018 by Ricky Church

The last few years have seen Zac Efron trying to distance himself as the good Disney image from High School Musical with roles geared towards an older audience like Bad Neighbours, Dirty Grandpa and Baywatch. Now we’ll see a very different side of him as the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Efron has shared the first look of him as Bundy via his Twitter page as production on the film begins today. Check the image out below…

Extremely Wicked is being directed by Joe Berlinger (Metallica: Some Kind of Monster) from Michael Werwie’s Nicholl Fellowship-winning script. It will tell its story from the perspective of Bundy’s longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, during the period that Bundy hid his murder spree from his live-in lover. Following his arrest, Bundy would confess to 30 murders across seven states and was executed for his crimes in 1989.

The film also stars Lily Collins (To The Bone) as Kloepfer.
