UPDATE: Sylvester Stallone shares fan made Creed 2 poster

February 18, 2018 by Gary Collinson

UPDATE: Turns out the poster isn’t official, and is actually fan made. Apologies. Original post follows…

With production on Creed 2 expected to get underway soon, Sylvester Stallone has taken to Instagram to share a teaser poster for the follow-up to Ryan Coogler’s Rocky spinoff, which features Stallone’s Rocky Balboa and Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed alongside Dolph Lundren’s Ivan Drago and boxer Florian Munteanu, who is taking on the role of Drago’s son.

Creed 2 has been penned by Cheo Hodari Coker (Luke Cage), and has Steven Caple Jr. (The Land) set to direct after Stallone decided to vacate the director’s chair. While the plot is yet to be officially confirmed, it’s pretty clear that the movie will see Jordan’s Creed squaring off against Drago Jr., the son of the man who killed his father Apollo Creed in Rocky IV.

Oh, and Stallone has also said that Rocky will fight Drago again, although don’t expect this one to take place between the ropes…

Creed 2 is set for release on November 21st, 2018.
