Centipede Mini-Arcade Cabinets available for pre-order over at FunstockRetro

Gamers across the globe appreciate a great looking Arcade Cabinet, there’s even a few lucky ones that even have the odd one or two proudly on show in their homes.  However, for those of us where floor space comes at a premium, the chances of ever owning a beautiful arcade cabinet is slim to not happening.  Though this is now about to change due to the, fully licensed by Atari, Mini-Arcade Cabinets soon to be released – from Replicade – over at FunstockRetro.

The first Centipede Mini Arcade Cabinet, is a fully-playable 12-inch tall wooden cabinet that faithfully recreates the classic arcade experience in a compact unit.  You can expect to see more titles coming along soon.

This centipede edition features the original ROM housed in an authentically recreated wood & metal cabinet. Centipede’s iconic control systems have been reproduced in 1:6 scale, allowing players to experience the game just as they did in the 80’s.

The cabinet itself is emblazoned with classic Centipede art taken directly from Atari’s in-house collection of original artwork. Displayed in brilliant high resolution detail, the stunning graphics make it as collectable as it is playable.
