McG to direct sci-fi adventure Rim of the World for Netflix

March 25, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Director McG (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator Salvation) is gearing up to shoot the Netflix sci-fi adventure movie Rim of the World, with principal photography set to get underway in May.

The film follows “four misfit teenagers who become unlikely allies when their summer camp experience is cut short by an alien invasion. The teens must work together, overcome their fears and insecurities and work as a team as they attempt to save the world.”

Rim of the World has been scripted by Zack Stentz (Thor, X-Men: First Class), and marks the third Netflix production for McG’s Wonderland banner after The Babysitter and When We First Met.
