Peyton List cast as female lead in Gone Baby Gone TV series

March 17, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Frequency actress Peyton List is set for the female lead in Fox’s as-yet-untitled TV adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel Gone Baby Gone.

List – who is currently portraying Poison Ivy in another Fox series, Gotham – will take on the role of Angela Gennaro, played by Michelle Monaghan in Ben Affleck’s 2007 movie adaptation.

List’s Gennaro will join Joseph Morgan’s (The Originals) Patrick Kenzie as two private detectives “who, armed with their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry, right wrongs the law can’t in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester.”

Also cast in the series is Lasylsa De Oliveira (Jalen Vs. Everybody) as Patrick’s girlfriend Grace Cole, and Christine Lahti (Swing Shift) as Angela’s mother. The pilot has been penned by Robert Levine (Black Sails), who will executive produce with Lehane, while Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger) directs.
