Kevin Smith calls Avengers: Infinity War a “gigantic Marvel masterpiece”

April 24, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Kevin Smith has revealed his thoughts on Avengers: Infinity War, calling the film a “masterpiece”.

The social media embargo for Avengers: Infinity War has been lifted, allowing those who have seen the film to reveal their thoughts and reactions. Infinity War is set to be the biggest film of 2018, so Marvel are obviously hoping first impressions are positive in order to get the ball rolling.

Well, if super fan and writer/director Kevin Smith is to be believed, Infinity War is going to be quite something indeed. Taking to Twitter, Smith said:

“I am overwhelmed. The movie is epic beyond compare. LOVED it. My legs are still shaking. It’s a gigantic @Marvel masterpiece. So much to say but I’ll stay Silent Bob til Monday so as not to slip in spoilers. Suffice to say it’s gonna be a looooong year until @Avengers 4…”

That certainly sounds like a ringing endorsement from Smith and with just a few short days until the movie hits cinema screens, fans will be able to see what all the fuss is about.
