Tom Hiddleston reveals interest in playing Galactus in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

April 26, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Tom Hiddleston has said that he would love to play Galactus in a future Marvel movie.

With Avengers: Infinity War now upon us and Avengers 4 on the horizon, the story of Thanos is seemingly coming to an end, which means that our Marvel heroes will be looking for a new villain to take on.

One character that fans would love to see done justice on the big screen, and someone who could pose an enormous threat, is Galactus. And with the Disney/Fox deal in the works, perhaps the foe might find his way into the MCU.

An actor who would love to play the role is Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston. The Avengers star was asked in a recent interview with Collider about which other Marvel character he would like to play and initially he opted for a lesser-known hero:

“Gosh, I don’t know. Is there a Captain Britain? Is he an interesting character? Probably there is.”

After thinking about it a little, Hiddleston’s final choice was the aforementioned villain: “The one I used to love when i was a child was Galactus. Could be motion capture. Does one get to double up? Chris Evans got to double up, I suppose.”

Do you like the sound of Hiddleston as Galactus? Would you like the villain to be the next big threat to the MCU?
