New trailer for Loving Pablo starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

With a little over a month to go until its US release, a new trailer has arrived online for writer-director Fernando León de Aranoa’s upcoming adaptation of Virginia Vallejo’s bestselling memoir Loving Pablo. The drama stars Penelope Cruz as journalist Vallejo and Javier Bardem as the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar alongside Peter Sarsgaard, Julieth Restrepo, David Valencia, and Giselle Da Silva; take a look at the trailer here…

“Loving Pablo tells the rise and fall of one of the greatest narcotics traffickers in history, Pablo Escobar, and his passionate and stormy love affair with the most famous Colombian journalist of the time, Virginia Vallejo, during his reign of terror that destroyed a whole country.”

Loving Pablo is set for release on June 15th.
