Gal Gadot joins Dwayne Johnson in Red Notice

June 11, 2018 by Matt Rodgers

According to Deadline, Gal Gadot is set to team up with Dwayne Johnson on globe-trotting heist thriller Red Notice.

It’s something of a reunion after the pair starred in three Fast & the Furious films together, with Red Notice featuring Johnson as an Interpol agent on the hunt for the most wanted art thief in the world. The title refers to Interpol’s highest state of criminal threat level and while details are extremely vague, it has been revealed that Gadot will play “a brilliant and mysterious figure in the art world”.

Red Notice is being directed by Central Intelligence and Skyscraper helmer Rawson Marshall Thurber and  produced by Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks, along with Beau Flynn, who has worked with Johnson on Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Hercules, San Andreas, Baywatch, Rampage and Skyscraper.

Johnson has Skyscraper and Fighting with My Family all incoming this year, while his other upcoming projects include Disney’s Jungle Cruise, Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel, the Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw, thriller The Janson Directive, the Doc Savage adaptation, and DC’s Black Adam (not to mention a rumoured appearance in Suicide Squad 2).
