Stars of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, have spoken about their absence during Avengers: Infinity War.
The latest Avengers adventure was a colossal event, bringing together untold superheroes from far and wide in order to do battle with Thanos. Nearly everyone was there to help, except for Ant-Man and The Wasp that is.
Well to find out just what happened, NDTV (via ComicBook.com) asked the two actors directly in a recent interview: “Well, it’s a great question,” Rudd replied.
Lilly then responded: “Explain yourself Ant-Man.”
“I remember going to see Infinity War and they do mention that I was under House Arrest and that I was not able to leave,” Rudd said. “There’s a lot going on, a lot going on.”
Regarding where The Wasp was, Lilly said: “For the record, I was there. I was just tiny.”
“Well maybe I was too small and you just couldn’t see me either,” Rudd chimed in. “I feel like I just piggybacked on your joke there.”
While we didn’t get any concrete or canon answers from the two, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be set before Infinity War so surely there will be some kind of explanation awaiting fans there.
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink.
