Following on from last month’s trailer, which you can watch here, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has now unveiled the Blu-ray cover art for The Death of Superman, the next instalment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series.

“When a hulking monster emerges from an underground resting place and begins a mindless rampage, the Justice League is quickly called in to stop the colossal force of nature. But it soon becomes apparent that only Superman can stand against the monstrosity that has been nicknamed Doomsday. Battling their way throughout America, the two fight to a standstill as they reach the heart of Metropolis. Going punch for punch, Superman finally ends the threat of Doomsday as he throws one last punch and collapses forever.”
The Death of Superman is set for release in the UK on Digital on July 24th 2018 and on DVD and Blu-ray on August 6th and features a voice cast that includes Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Matt Lanter as Aquaman, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Jason O’Mara as Batman, Rocky Carroll as Silas Stone and Patrick Fabian as Hank Henshaw.
