Charlie Cox wants Daredevil and Spider-Man to team up

July 12, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Star of Daredevil, Charlie Cox, says that he wants his character and Spider-Man to team up.

Superhero team-ups aren’t anything new, the MCU has made its fortune thanks to films like The Avengers after all. But a Netflix hero like Daredevil and a movie hero like Spider-Man? Marvel hasn’t attempted such a fusion yet.

This is what Daredevil star Charlie Cox wants, however, telling a panel at Las Vegas Comic Con (via ColliderVideos) that he would love to link up with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man:

“I have to be really careful here.” Cox explained. “I mean, I’m sure I can say this. And I’ll just preface it by saying that I can’t see how this would happen. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. But I have no information to suggest that this would ever happen. But it’d be really cool to see…I’d love to do something with Spider-Man.”

There’s a history in the comics of the two heroes fighting crime together so it’s not unheard of but with Marvel keeping their Netflix properties so detached from their movie heroes, it seems unlikely.
