Dave Franco, Adria Arjona, Corey Hawkins and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo join Ryan Reynolds in Michael Bay’s Six Underground

July 20, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim Uprising), Corey Hawkins (The Walking Dead) and  Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) have joined Ryan Reynolds in Six Underground, the upcoming action film from director Michael Bay and Netflix.

Six Underground has been scripted by Deadpool and Deadpool 2 screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and is described as “a high testosterone mission movie” which will see Reynolds leading a team of four men and two women as they attempt to stop some kind of evil.

Production on the $125 million budgeted film is slated to begin in September, with further casting news expected soon. As yet, there’s no word on an exact release date, but Netflix is looking to debut it in 2019.
