Star Wars: The Clone Wars revived, new trailer unveiled at Comic-Con

July 19, 2018 by George Chrysostomou

Several years have passed since the fan favourite Lucasfilm animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars was cancelled on a less than satisfying note. It appeared that all hope was lost when Star Wars Rebels was announced as the spiritual successes to the Prequel-era series, seemingly bringing an end to the possibility of a new season of the show.

However, now that Rebels has finished, it seems that Disney and Lucasfilm have unfinished business with the ever popular Star Wars series as following today’s Clone Wars celebration Comic-Con panel, the team at Lucasfilm revealed a huge piece of news that has already shaken Twitter.

Showing off the goods with a brand new trailer, it has been revealed that #CloneWarsSaved is more than just a fan hashtag and the series will be returning for a brand new season.
