Latest Joker set photos feature Arthur Fleck, a clown, and a male stripper

September 20, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Warner Bros. and DC Films kicked off production on Todd Phillips’ Joker movie earlier this week; we’ve already had an official image of Joaquin Phoenix as the pre-Clown Prince of Crime Arthur Fleck, along with set photos of Phoenix’s Fleck and a Clown, and now Just Jared has got its hands on a few more spy photos, which feature more shots of the aforementioned Fleck and Clown, as well as Glenn Fleshler’s male stripper character; take a look at the photos via the Twitter link below…

Joker centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Todd Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Joker is set for release on October 4th 2019 and stars Joaquin Phoenix (The Sisters Brothers), Robert De Niro (Goodfellas), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Bill Camp (Red Sparrow), Frances Conroy (American Horror Story), Brett Cullen (Narcos), Glenn Fleshler (Billions), Douglas Hodge (Penny Dreadful), Marc Maron (GLOW), Josh Pais (Motherless Brooklyn), and Shea Whigham (Kong: Skull Island).
