The Pick of the Flicks Podcast #15 – Horror producer Jen Handorf discusses The Stone Tape

November 14, 2018 by Tom Beasley

On The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, a different guest drops in every week to chat about their favourite movie. This week, horror producer Jen Handorf stops by for a chat about the cult British TV horror film The Stone Tape…

This week, our guest is horror producer Jen Handorf, who has worked on a succession of terrific British genre movies including The Borderlands and Alice Lowe’s blackly comic Prevenge. Her latest project is immersive theatre experience Fright Night Club in London. The film she chose to discuss was the 1970s British horror teleplay The Stone Tape, written by Quatermass creator Nigel Kneale. It’s a chilling marriage of horror and sci-fi that has inspired its own theory in the world of parapsychology.
