Pixar’s Onward pitch brought star Chris Pratt to tears

December 14, 2018 by Samuel Brace

The Disney-Pixar pitch for their new film Onward made Chris Pratt cry when he heard it.

News has broken that Disney-Pixar are getting ready to release another film, their first since 2017’s Coco. The film is called Onward and will star Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

The film is set to tell the story of two teenage elves and their quest to see if there is any magic left in the world. And from the sounds of it, it’s going to be pretty emotional as star Chris Pratt has revealed that the pitch for the film actually made him tear up:

“So thrilled to be a part of this,” Pratt posted on Twitter. “I can’t tell you much, but… I will tell you this, when we visited Pixar to hear the pitch I straight up cried. This one is next level. God willing, in about a year and a half you’ll be moved as well. We have a BEAUTIFUL story coming your way.”

We will have to wait and see if audiences have the same reaction to the film as Pratt did to hearing the pitch. Are you looking forward to Onward?
