Top 10 WWE Main Roster Superstars of 2018

December 18, 2018 by Liam Hoofe

3: Ronda Rousey

Who’d have thought Ronda Rousey would have had such an exceptional debut year in the WWE? Since making her debut in a great match at WrestleMania 34, she has grown into one of the most rounded performers on the entire roster.

Rousey has become one of the biggest attractions in the WWE, and she has even managed to have good matches with the likes of Nikki Bella and Nia Jax, two of the more questionable performers in the Women’s division.

Her feud with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch is the hottest thing in the WWE right now, and the main event at WrestleMania 35 is exactly what she deserves for all of her hard work.

2: AJ Styles

AJ Styles, who topped our list of WWE Superstars back in 2017, has had yet another stellar year working for the WWE.

The two-time WWE Champion has been an integral part of what has made SmackDown so hugely enjoyable throughout 2018 and while some of his bigger matches may have underwhelmed at times, he has delivered more than enough quality to counter it.

Throughout the year Styles has had great matches with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan, and he has also put on some great matches on television as well, most notably with Bryan and Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas.

Styles’ WWE contract is up early in 2019, but the company will be doing everything in their power to keep hold of their star performer, especially with their new FOX deal on the horizon.

1: Seth Rollins

While he may have ended his 2018 on a bit of a bum note, Seth Rollins has had an exceptional year in 2018, putting on match of the year candidate after match of the year candidate and continuously proving exactly why he is considered one of the best wrestlers on the planet right now.

Whether it was against Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, or Dolph Ziggler, Rollins has proven time and time again why he deserves to be treated as one of the top guys in the WWE right now, and with a potential Royal Rumble victory on the horizon, it looks as though the WWE could finally be willing to give Rollins the Universal Championship reign we all know he deserves.

What do you make of this ranking? What would your top 10 look like? Let us know in the comments below…
