Perlman, Beer and Robertson-Dworet have all been in demand lately. All three were part of Paramount’s writers room for Transformers, with Perlman and Robertson-Dworet also working on the script for the upcoming Marvel superhero blockbuster Captain Marvel. Perlman penned Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and co-wrote Pixar’s Inside Out, Robertson-Dworet scripted Tomb Raider and has been attached to Silver & Black, Gotham City Sirens, Sherlock Holmes 3 and Dungeons and Dragons, and Beer’s credits include Sierra Burgess is a Loser, Chaos Walking, The Kingkiller Chronicle and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot.

As yet, there aren’t any further details on the plans for the female-fronted spinoff, but we shall keep you posted as more information becomes available.
