Martin Scorsese-produced drama Diane gets a poster and trailer

February 15, 2019 by Gary Collinson

IFC Films has released a poster and trailer for Diane, a drama from first-time filmmaker Kent Jones and executive producer Martin Scorsese, which won the Best Narrative Feature award at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Take a look here…

For Diane (Mary Kay Place), who lives alone in western Massachusetts, everyone else comes first. Generous but with little patience for self-pity, she spends her days checking in on sick friends, volunteering at her local soup kitchen and trying valiantly to save her troubled, drug-addicted adult son (Jake Lacy) from himself. But beneath her relentless routine of self-sacrifice, Diane is fighting a desperate internal battle, haunted by a past she can’t forget and which threatens to tear her increasingly chaotic world apart.

Diane is set for release in the U.S. on March 29th, and features a cast that includes Mary Kay Place, Jake Lacy, Estelle Parsons, Andrea Martin, Deirdre O’Connell, Joyce Van Patten, Phyllis Sommerville, Glynnis O’Connor and Paul McIsaac.
