Back in December it was announced that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are assembling to battle Thanos and his cronies on the Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, and during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct we got some further details on the game, along with a brand new trailer.
Ultimate Alliance 3 is being developed by Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Nioh) and will feature four-player local and online co-op, with gamers able to choose from a variety of characters from across the Avengers, Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men. And, as showcased in the new trailer, players will also be able to take on the role of Captain Marvel, coinciding with her big screen outings in this year’s Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame movies.
As yet, there’s no official release date set for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, but it is expected to arrive later this year.
