Sean Gunn says it will be a “disservice” to fans not to make Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

March 5, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Sean Gunn, one of the stars of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and James Gunn’s brother, says that it would be a “disservice” to fans if a third film doesn’t get made.

The future of Guardians of the Galaxy is a little nebulous right now. While former director James Gunn’s script will be used for the film, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has admitted that the film isn’t a high priority right now.

Sean Gunn, the brother of James, has said in the past that he is sure the film will still happen but in a recent interview with Variety, he said that it would be a real shame if nothing came to fruition:

“I don’t know exactly how that’s all gonna work. But I feel like we are going to make the third movie, I’m excited to make it, I think it’s a disservice to the fans if we didn’t make it and I know the people who worked on the Guardians movies are really a family, and we’re gonna come together and make the best movie we can regardless of who’s in charge.

“I just have this feeling everything’s gonna work itself out,” he added.

It’s going to be an interesting one to keep an eye on going forward. We will have to wait and see for what the future holds. Are you still interested in seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
